2025 Homecoming & Annual Business Mtg

2025 Homecoming & Annual Business Mtg

Homecoming 2025 was enjoyed by all who attended either in person or “virtually.”  The day began at the Russell Museum where 109 attendees were greeted and registered by members of the Homecoming Committee before moving upstairs for a continental breakfast and time to meet and greet their fellow alumni, members of the IHP SON and other special guests. Alumni present represented classes ranging from ’53 – ’81. Members of the anniversary classes received a red rose corsage while class agents received a yellow rose corsage upon registering. The room was buzzing with excitement, laughter and much chatter as those present enjoyed time catching up with classmates and meeting with other graduates and special guests.

All then walked or traveled by bus to the O’Keefe Auditorium at MGH, marveling at the changes and on-going construction. The White building was probably the only recognizable feature of the MGB complex to many. The day continued with a welcome from Mary Larkin, NAA President. She continued with the NAA Annual Business Meeting before introducing the days speakers, Marianne Ditomassi RN, DNP, MBA, NEA-BC, FAAN, Paula Milone-Nuzzo PhD, RN, FHHC, FAAN, Kathy Sabo PhD, RN, CNE, and Sarah Alger BA, who gave updates on the happenings in the MGB nursing department, IHP SON, the Ruth Sleeper Center and the Russell Museum. The entire program scheduled in the O’Keefe Auditorium was available both in person and virtually with approximately 30 additional alumni attending online.

The day continued outside where attendees enjoyed the beautiful day, delicious appetizers and beverages and continued to meet and greet one another and share many fond memories.  Lunch was served in the Wang Tea Leaves Café where attendees were seated in class groupings.  The day concluded with an acapella rendition of the MGH SON school song led by a few brave alumni singers.
